Her response, was we are understaffed and we apologize. A female came over and we advised the manager of our concerns and frustration being told we would have to wait 2hrs for a table.Before we lodged our complaint, I advised her we were not looking for a comp on our meal or drinks.We advised her that we had noticed right across from the bar were 4 tables that were NEVER occupied. Towards the end of the dinner, I asked for a Manager. Right after we got our bill, we received a text that our table was ready,this was at 8:47Pm. After eating and chatting, we got our bill. Dinner was served and we enjoyed the dinner. Another group of 4-6 people came to the bar and asked if they could sit at the tables near the bar.
After eating our appy, we ordered dinner. Now,from where we sat we could see 4 open tables near the bar.
We asked our bartender, Allan(hope that is the correct spelling as HE WAS PHENOMENAL) if we could eat at the bar. Now when you looked around the restaurant, there were numerous open tables throughout the restaurant. When we went to the Hostess station and put in our name, we were told there was a 2hr wait for a party of 4. Now I understand it was a Saturday night and Prom weekend. We have eaten at the Chef's Resturant in Sherrills Ford and food was awesome. Tonight was our first visit to Port City Club(PCC).
